About SCM
There are many programs for music evaluation locally and nationwide,
but we often receive suggestions to start an evaluation program that
truly helps today’s youth stay interested in music studies by giving lots of
love and encouragement. We all know music education is a hard job for
the teachers and students, especially in the modern day when they are
used to doing things with a few clicks of the mouse. However, this lacks
creativity which is why musical instrument study is so valuable, not only
for increasing brain capacity but also for bettering yourself as a person.
As we mentioned before, there are many evaluation programs available,
but our main goal is to make the
Satori Certificate of Musicianship (SCM)
a program that encourages students of music, especially kids, to stay
interested in continuing their music studies. We have created 10
progressive levels for students to achieve in a friendly way that make
music studies fun and productive. These also help teachers set goals for
their students to progressively reach a higher level. We believe that
music studies should leave good memories in life, not painful ones. This
should be a win-win situation for teachers as well as students.
SCM
has 10 progressive levels for students to achieve. The requirements
for each level contain theory which the student will need to download
from our website and finish at home before bringing the work to their
performance evaluation at our facility. We also have a list of repertoire
for each level so please check it thoroughly to be eligible for your
chosen level. The SCM evaluation focuses mainly on performance. After
evaluation, students will get a certificate that indicates their passing
theSCM.
SCM
is a non-membership program. To join, simply download the forms and
sumit them with your payment. We also recommend checking out our
other programs which are also available on our website, to find benefits
for music study needs.
